UPSC Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria
UPSC Educational Qualification
- Lady Medical Officer (Family Welfare) – The applicant should have a qualified Medical qualification involved in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule according to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Educational certificate holders included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in the sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship are necessary.
- Principal Design Officer (Electrical) – The aspirants should have a degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering from a certified University or similar.
- Ship Surveyor cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) – The candidate should have a degree in Naval Architecture from a recognized University.
- Assistant Architect, Office of Chief Architect – The applicant who are applying for assistant or chief architect should have a degree in Architecture or an equivalent diploma from a certified University /Institution or similar. The applicant should be registered with the Council of Architecture.
UPSC 2021 Age Limit
- Lady Medical Officer (Family Welfare) – 33 years
- Principal Design Officer(Electrical) – 45 years
- Ship Surveyor cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) – 45 years
- Assistant Architect, Office of Chief Architect – 35 years
Age relaxation for the SC/ST applicants is upto 5 years and for OBC applicants age relaxation is 3 years. ST/SC/OBC candidates need to show their caste certificate in a prescribed format.
UPSC Application Fee
Candidates who want to apply for multiple positions can make it by creating multiple application on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) portal. A general, OBC, or economically weaker section (EWS) aspirants have to pay an application fee of Rs. 25 /-. However, ST / SC / PWD candidates are exempted from any fee.

UPSC Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
The candidates will be elected for multiple posts on the behalf of merit. The merit will be decided by following an interview and recruitment test (RT) if necessary. It is mandatory for applicants to appear for document verification and final round of selection.
